McLean

The community of McLean developed around a trolley stop in 1906.  McLean, Virginia received its name from John Roll McLean, the former publisher and owner of The Washington Post.  It is an unincorporated community and with a 2020 population of 47,682.  McLean is home to many Fortune 500 companies, and also many diplomats, military, members of Congress, and high-ranking government officials partially due to its proximity to Washington, D.C., The Pentagon and the Central Intelligence.  The two zip codes in McLean are 22102 and 22101. There are ten main neighborhoods in McLean, all of which have their distinct feels and communities.  McLean is one of the landmark communities in Northern Virginia.

There are plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy in McLean, from nature preserves, scenic parks and walking trails to shopping at its two large malls, to Farmers markets, local theaters, community center and live entertainment and so many choices for dining.
